Fire exits and stairways unlocked and clear to access 

Fire Sprinkler System

Fire sprinklers are not corroded or damaged
Piping is not corroded 
All piping is supported correctly  
Check pressure gauges to see if they are in good working order & the correct pressures are indicated as per the required design 
All the required valves are in the open position 
Sprinklers spares box has the correct spares and sprinkler spanner   
There are no leaks coming from the manifold or fittings and no signs of corrosions 
Check to ensure that all ICV pressure gauges indicate your system is under pressure 

Handheld Fire Protection Equipment 

Hydrant outlets are free of debris
Fire extinguisher gauges are “in the green” 
Fire extinguishers, hose reels and hydrants have seals  

Record Keeping

Fire equipment easily accessible, serviced and maintained  
Keep record of all maintenance schedule dates to ensure fire protection equipment are serviced at correct intervals
