We have had the pleasure to be involved in the new warehouse construction for a popular snack company in Rosslyn, Pretoria.
Challenges
Our offices also had an opportunity to shine as the design challenges met with uncommon suction lift conditions of the water supply meant the need to re-evaluate the conventional pumped water supply and account for this in hydraulic calculations.
Project Scope
Our involvement on this project included design, supply, and installation of all the fire protection components.
- The design and installation was based on ASIB twelfth addition.
- Our sprinkler protection installations provided cover for roof level, mezzanines, offices, and dedicated fire pump.
- The warehouse is fully equipped with hydrants and hose reels, all supplied and installed by Elite Fire Protection
- Over and above the sprinkler installations, we provided fire suppression to protect the electrical transformer and generator
